A photobooth experience crafted
to stand apart.

Copper&Velvet brings a hand-built, vintage-industrial attraction to weddings and celebrations — pairing authentic antique relics with warm studio atmosphere for a timeless turn-of-the-century aesthetic. No tacky ring lights, no plastic backdrops, and no AI filters killing the vibe.

Vintage aesthetic meets modern capability.

I built my open-air booth using restored historical relics, outfitted with high-end modern studio tech.

The camera housing

An 1890s Rochester Optical Company bellows camera

Restored down to the hardware, then quietly fitted around a modern full-frame Sony DSLR — capable of stunning still portraits and animated GIFs.

The lighting

Built from repurposed industrial fixtures

Old housings, re-wired with intent: studio lights and flash strobes shape every exposure for a true studio-quality shot, not a flat phone-flash look.

The display

A 1940s RCA television cabinet

The tube is long gone. In its place, a modern screen guests use to frame and review shots before they're printed.

The print & sharing station

A 1930s General Electric radio housing

Inside: a fast photo printer delivering instant prints for guests to take home, plus a sharing station that sends the same shots to their phones on the spot.

Two ways to bring it into the room.

Same camera, same capabilities underneath — the difference comes down to the grandiosity of the lighting fixture, so you can match the booth to your event's needs.

The compact setup

The same optics and capabilities, housed in a smaller, portable fixture for venues that need a lighter footprint — corporate events, showers, and tighter spaces.
